Amazon Web Services Summit, Sydney

Challenge:

GPJ were engaged to create several events that drove brand advocacy and provided attendees with further AWS product knowledge and messaging. A key deliverable for 2017 was executing a new and exciting stage set in the same space/layout as the previous year.

Solution:

GPJ were tasked with complete creative delivery of the event, from the opening video at keynote to an intricate stage set that was visible from 360 degrees. The stage was split into 4 areas to house the breakout sessions with another two in a nearby building. All builds within the exhibition hall were designed by GPJ’s in house 3D and 2D team and included a custom AWS booth, 70 sponsor booths, custom AWS activation areas and catering stands. The delivery of the event required a high level of pre-planning, organisation, logistics managements, communication and creative acumen.

Results:

GPJ seamlessly produced all seven events within one week, with over 5,000 pax attendee’s total. Recording the highest attendee figures for Sydney across all events, the feedback was outstanding from both client and attendees, with creative and executional elements replicated in Summit events globally. Next stop, Auckland and Canberra.
