Seafolly Summer Skin Check

Challenge:

Create a PR event to launch the start of summer which aligns Seafolly with Summer messaging around keeping safe in the sun, while amplifying the brand via a public activation and social media coverage.

Solution:

The concept was to deliver a public activation, and to saturate the Bondi boardwalk with Seafolly branding and presence. This included yoga on the beach for 300 people, breakfast at The Bucket List from 7am – 12pm, skin checks at the Bondi Surf Club (in partnership with Bondi Doctors), as well as giveaways of sunscreen, beach umbrellas, yoga mats, ice-creams and instore Seafolly discount vouchers.

Results:

Overall GPJ executed an engaging activation, with yoga on the beach at maximum capacity, 400 breakfast guests, 160 skin checks and over 2000 giveaways. Six live Channel 7 weather news crosses covered the activation, along with Today FM radio adverts. High profile ambassadors were present including Natasha Oakley and Erin Holland who hosted the event and posted on social media to their combined 2 million followers.
